Early Childhood Education Program in Aurora, CO
The Early Childhood Education Program is designed to provide the skills needed to secure employment as a Teaching Assistant in a childcare center, preschool, or elementary school.
Students enrolled in the program receive training in the classroom setting and in the on-site licensed child care facility.
Leadership skills are taught through participation in the FCCLA student organization. Students considering a career in education, child psychology, pediatric medicine, social work, or other child-related occupations are encouraged to enroll in the ECE program.
Students who successfully complete the ECE Program may earn transferable college credit with any participating community college in the state of Colorado if certain grade requirements are met.
