FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Facilities Maintenance Technician program prepares students with entry-level skills to perform inspection, preventive maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties.
Successful graduates will possess knowledge and skills in the basic maintenance of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, major appliances, HVAC and other mechanical systems.
Instruction will also include interior and exterior property maintenance finish work such as floors, walls, painting, window treatments, ceiling/exhaust fans and lighting.

Instructor: Mike Roloff
Michael C. Roloff is the Facilities Maintenance Technician teacher who works with students to train the next Facilities Maintenance Professionals.
Michael has taught at Pickens for three years. He came to Pickens from ten years of working in the industry where he held both maintenance technician and supervisor positions for several property management companies.
Michael is a certified CPO, EPA Type I & II, 410a Universal and has also received awards for customer service and opperational exalance.
Michael believes that Pickens Technical College is a great opportunity for both educators and students to specialize in an area of their interests and expertise. The educational setting is nontraditional with real world hands on training and the classrooms reflect the industries that students are preparing to work in.
