Greg Shamburg has 26 years of teaching experience at Pickens Technical College in Aurora CO, including 18 years of Cabinetmaking, 12 years of Construction Technology, 20 years of Construction Supervisor, and 1 year as a TOSA Teacher Leader (Math). His industry background includes remodeling, room additions, new construction, framing, and exterior finish. He also holds a City of Aurora Contractors License and Class B Supervisors License. While at Pickens he has served as department chair, on the instructional leadership team, on the Colorado State Faculty Curriculum Committee, and on the Colorado Content Collaborative in Assessment Development. He has been involved with Math-in-CTE since 2008, having developed and implemented lessons for his own classrooms and leading other instructors in the use of the model. Greg has also assisted with Math-in-CTE implementations in Rhode Island, Washington DC, and Vermont.
