The APS school board has approved educational programs to go remote for the first quarter of this academic year. Governor Polis and the Tri County Health Department has granted a waiver for all medical training programs and identified critical workforce training programs – Construction, Welding, Automotive, Collision Repair, Advanced Manufacturing, Heating & Air Conditioning Service Technology and Urban Horticulture & Landscape Management to be offered in a hybrid format.

Fall Classes

Classes will begin on August 18th.

At this point we know the first week of classes will be remote. Your instructors will give you further information about class structure during the first week. We still do not have answers about in person learning.

Campus Staff

The campus is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. You are welcome to stop by the registration office to speak with staff members or make payments.

Due to COVID regulations, 50% of staff may be in the office at one time. We ask for your patience and continued understanding as we help each student individually. If you visit the campus you must wear a mask and comply with all signage. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we support visitors in compliance with current health regulations.

Contact Information for Staff

You can reach our staff by dialing the main number 303- 344-4910, x 27797.

Fall Orientation

If you registered in February, you received a piece of paper saying Fall Orientation would be August 4 and August 6. Due to COVID these dates are canceled and all orientations this year will be conducted online. We are updating the presentation this week and plan to send it out next week. We apologize for the delay but want to be sure we have the most up-to- date information to convey.

MMR FORMS

All postsecondary students in Colorado are required to show proof of two MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations. We will send out more information in the next email. In the meantime please be aware that proof of vaccination or a signed waiver must be turned into the school nurse by August 11.
