Small Business Management
The Small Business Management program prepares students for employment in an office or business environment with emphasis on computer skills, entrepreneurship, and e-commerce. If students are college-bound, they will benefit from the skills they receive in their area of emphasis. The Pickens Technical College Business Department makes an effort to keep class size small to allow for greater teacher-student interaction and individualized training.
Classes will open a small tax site serving the Aurora community by completing taxes free for taxpayers who make under $65,000. Students will be IRS Certified after passing required exams at the end of the semester.
The following certificates may be earned:
- Small Business Management Certificate
